What podiatrists miss in Arizona

Can a podiatrist licensed elsewhere get a Arizona license by endorsement?

Comity licensure needs a license from a state whose requirements were substantially equal to Arizona's, at least five years of lawful practice in the preceding seven, and every other Arizona requirement, including the 36-month residency. Arizona's universal recognition law applies to people who establish residence in Arizona.

Which APMLE parts does Arizona require?

  • Amputation: No amputation of the leg or the entire foot.
  • Anesthesia: Local anesthetic only.
